Lehi Facility Expansion

57,000 square feet of innovation engineered for functional foods, RTDs, RTMs, and flavor-first formulation.

What is the new Lehi facility, and when does it open?

The new Lehi, Utah facility is a 57,000+ sq. ft. flavor manufacturing, pre-mix, R&D, and 1800 pallet space warehousing space, opened in Q1 2026. Purpose-built to support the growth of Sensapure’s Ready-to-Mix (RTM) and Ready-to-Drink (RTD) solutions, it adds capacity, redundancy, and customer-focused services in a clean, modern environment.‍

Lehi Sensapure Building

Built to Solve Formulation Challenges at Scale

Our new Lehi facility isn’t just a space—it’s a strategic extension of the Sensapure promise.

Designed from the ground up to support R&D-driven innovation and high-volume production, the 57,000 sq. ft. site includes pilot blending, commercial-scale powder systems, encapsulation, and sensory evaluation tools—all under one roof.

With climate-controlled blending rooms, fluid-bed agglomeration, spray drying, and five Munson® rotary blenders, Lehi brings flavor development and execution into perfect alignment.

Whether you’re prototyping a single SKU or scaling a national rollout, this facility gives you the capacity and confidence to move faster without compromising performance.

R&D Collaboration

Less Waiting. More Formulating.

Product development should never be delayed by disconnects between your flavor partner and production team.

That’s why Lehi was designed for co-creation.

Our R&D Collaboration Suite brings flavor chemists, application scientists, and your team into the same room (literally or virtually).

This space allows for rapid formulation trials, real-time tasting feedback, and pilot batching—all without the handoffs and lag time of a traditional process.

With the Sensapure Tasting App on hand, we turn subjective flavor discussions into data-informed decisions, so your product gets to market faster, with fewer rounds and more confidence.

What new capabilities does this facility offer?

Lehi expands Sensapure’s ability to deliver optimized dry ingredient pre-blends, enhanced RTM formulation support, and scalable solutions for beverage brands and co-manufacturers.

The site also opens up additional spray drying, liquid flavor production, and fluid-bed agglomeration capabilities to Sensapure HQ in Salt Lake City.

Flavor Systems & Tech

Functional Ingredients Require Functional Flavor Systems

SensaBuilt™ – matrix-specific masking agents tailored to your active ingredients

SensaAroma™ – boost your product’s “first impression” with aroma-enhanced shelf-open impact

GPC™ Agglomeration – for smoother solubility and cleaner texture in high-protein or high-fiber application

Spray Dry + Encapsulation – preserve volatiles, extend shelf life, and minimize degredation

What is meant by “pre-blending capabilities”?

Pre-blending refers to the precise, early-stage combination of ingredients—including flavor systems, actives, sweeteners, carriers, and masking agents—into a consistent, ready-to-scale formula.

These pre-blends are then sent to co-manufacturing partners for final processing and packaging.

It’s the foundation of successful, scalable RTM and RTD beverage development.

How does Lehi support the RTM beverage category?

Lehi is optimized for the speed, complexity, and customization required in functional powdered beverages.

Beverage, QC, and applications labs, as well as a dedicated beverage formulation team will be on-site for development and production.

Who is this facility built to serve?

This expansion supports functional beverage brands, co-manufacturers, and bottlers seeking streamlined access to custom pre-blends, flavor systems, and beverage-ready ingredient kits.

We are NOT filling, packaging, or providing finished product services.

Why build the new Lehi facility just 30 miles south of Sensapure HQ in Salt Lake City?

The Lehi facility was strategically located near our Salt Lake City headquarters to maximize operational efficiency, team collaboration, and supply chain continuity—without duplicating roles or resources.

It allows us to scale key capabilities like pre-blending, beverage kitting, and plating flavors, and while freeing up space in SLC for expanded Liquid and Spray Dry capacity.

What types of products will be developed or supported here?

Primarily powdered pre-blends for RTM and RTD beverages in categories like energy, hydration, wellness, protein, and cognitive support. Dry blended flavors (such as chocolates, vanillas, and SensaNaturals+(TM) will also be produced at the Lehi facility.

The site expansion also allows room for a NEW fluid bed agglomerator in SLC for certain types of flavor encapsulation.
